Aura Diary, by Pruva Apps · Last updated: November 8, 2026
Your diary stays with you
Everything you log is stored on your iPhone, and on your Apple Watch if you use it. The two talk to each other directly. There's no account and no cloud sync, and the diary is never sent to us or anyone else.
Nothing is collected
Aura Diary has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't know who you are or how you use the app.
Apple Health
If you allow it, Aura Diary reads sleep, steps, heart rate and cycle data to add context to attacks, and saves attacks to Health as headaches. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and it only leaves your device if you export or share it yourself.
Weather
To look up air pressure, your approximate location is sent to Apple's weather service. Nothing else is sent with it. For pressure info in the background, the app keeps your last approximate location on this iPhone.
Summaries
Written summaries are created by Apple's on-device model. Your diary isn't sent anywhere to create them.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We don't receive your payment details.
Sharing and exports
Reports, CSV exports and backups are created on your device and include your health entries. They're only shared when you choose to share them, with whomever you choose.
Backups
Like other app data, your diary is part of your iPhone backup if you back up your iPhone. You can also save an encrypted backup file yourself in Settings.
Keeping and deleting data
Entries stay until you delete them. You can delete single attacks, or everything, in Settings; deleting everything also removes the headaches Aura Diary saved to Apple Health. Deleting the app deletes the diary from this device.
Your permissions
You can turn Health access off in the Health app, and location, motion and notifications in the iPhone Settings app, at any time. The app keeps working without them.
Children
Aura Diary isn't directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
